Founded in 2018 by Ryan Backer, Kyrié Carpenter, and a team of passionate advocates, the Old School Hub has morphologically transformed from the Old School Clearinghouse into a more robust entity focused on enhancing the understanding of ageism. With a mission to educate and unite both advocates and everyday individuals, the Hub has become a trusted resource amidst the challenges of the pandemic.

The selection of Alessandro Negrete was no small feat, as over 100 impressive candidates vied for this significant role. The selection team, comprised of experts including Janine Vanderburg and Wendy Silveira-Steinway, recognized Negrete's exceptional qualifications and visionary approach to advancing age equity.
