
Experience the Joy of Dance: Free Ballet Classes in Raleigh
In an exciting initiative to promote the arts and engage the community, Carolina Ballet is partnering with the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts to offer five FREE Ballet 4 All classes for children aged 6 to 18. These inclusive sessions welcome dancers of all skill levels, ensuring no prior experience is necessary.
Class Schedule: Mark Your Calendars!
Participants can look forward to an enriching experience on the following dates:
- Seven Deadly Sins: October 15, 6 pm—7 pm
- La Valse: November 19, 6 pm—7 pm
- The Nutcracker: December 12, 10:30 am—11:30 am
- Open Class: January 14, 6 pm—7 pm
- Carmen Suite: February 4, 6 pm—7 pm
All classes will be held at the Kennedy Theatre, located at 2 E. South Street, Raleigh. Parents, make sure your children wear comfortable clothing; ballet shoes are recommended, but socks are a suitable alternative.
A Peek Behind the Curtain
After each class, attendees will have a special opportunity to stay for a sneak peek of a live Carolina Ballet dress rehearsal, featuring popular productions such as The Nutcracker and Carmen Suite. This unique experience provides young dancers with an inspiring insight into the world of ballet, igniting their passion for dance.
